Masters Course: Modelling of Materials
Nucleation Control Nucleation is relevant in disciplines ranging from materials science and engineering to biology and medicine. Prof. Lindsay Greer was a co-organiser of a Royal Society Discussion Meeting last year on 'Nucleation Control'. The proceedings of this meeting have just appeared in this month's Phil. Trans. Royal Society (Math. Phys. Eng. Sci.). and describe the wide range of areas, from metals, polymers and ceramics through to biosystems, in which nucleation control is exercised. Advances in observational and computational techniques are covered.
