US State Government Aid The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to apply for most state loan, grant and scholarship programs, in addition to the federal loans and grants. When you submit the FAFSA to the US Department of Education, they forward the information on the form to the state student assistance agency. Each state has a different FAFSA submission deadline. On-Line Securities Search and Verification Bureau of Securities Overview The responsibility of the Bureau of Securities and its staff is to regulate the sale of securities and the securities industry in Nebraska. The Bureau has jurisdiction over most securities offered and/or sold in Nebraska. The Securities Act of Nebraska requires the registration of all securities offered for sale in Nebraska unless there is an applicable exemption or it is pre-empted.
