Freelance Writing Feedback Visitor's Book Contact Luxembourg is with only 413,000 inhabitants the smallest country of the European Union. But due to their financial offshore status and bank secrecy, they have more than 200 banks. One third of the population are foreigners working mostly in the banks and the institutions of the European Union.
This page is not meant to be a source of immigration or travel information. Its contents are based on real experiences or knowledge, a bit of exaggeration, and added a dash of British style humour, irony and sarcasm. I hope you will have a good time reading the stories. Remember, there's no smoke without a fire. In case someone wants to accuse me of chauvinism, I would like to point out that my native country, Denmark, has been through the same treatment.
Piet Hein.
