Many of the pages, especially the University pages, include links to addition al resources. This list was compiled from the internet by searching Excite, Yahoo! and Hotbot for the keywords: assessment, student outcomes, institutional effectiveness. Additional links were found by searching various university sites on the above keywords. All Big 12 University web sites were searched. If any are not represented below, it is because I have not found resources for them on the web. It does not mean they are not doing assessment. home email us WELCOME Introduction Mission History Contributions to the Community
WELCOME TO IMAWA.COM IMAWA provides extensive consumer information on how to make smart choices when preparing for a residential or commercial move; and we regularly act as a liaison between our members, consumers, regulatory agencies, and the media. Our association's mover members range in size from a one-truck family business to the national headquarters for several national van lines. Licensed household goods movers provide transportation services within Illinois for more than 250,000 shipments per year an average of nearly 700 per day. Movers employ 15,000 people, and they own or lease over 13,000 vehicles. Among our member services, IMAWA provides continuing education workshops, a college scholarship program, annual convention, newsletter, mass purchase programs, legislative representation, and a self-funded workers' compensation program. We are happy to help you determine whether the Illinois domiciled mover of your choice is licensed. Our "resources" page can help you investigate movers both within and outside Illinois.
For your protection, it's important to remember that anyone providing moving on public roads and/or storage service must be licensed. No exceptions! This applies to moves within Illinois (and most other states) as well as interstate moves, and it helps provide adequate levels of insurance and accountability.
