    Statement of Purpose
    The Occupational Dermatology Research and Education Centre (ODREC) was established in March 2001 by Dr Rosemary Nixon and Ms Kath Frowen, at the Skin and Cancer Foundation, Melbourne. Rosemary and Kath have worked together for over 10 years, on a number of research projects relating to occupational skin disease, and have conducted an Occupational Dermatology Clinic together since 1993. The establishment of the Centre was initially funded by the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria.
    In October 2001 ODREC was the recipient of a 5 year grant from the Department of Health and Aged Care, Federal Government, Canberra. This grant will enable the Centre to pursue its aims and to function as the National Collaborative Centre for Research and Education into Occupational Contact Dermatitis
    The aims of the Occupational Dermatology Research and Education Centre (ODREC) are:
