Product Description
The Universe is a continuum of intelligent consciousness, and we are inseparable from it.The only boundaries are artificial, placed there by people who fail to grasp the wholeness of it all.For any person to continue living, bound by a focused, narrow belief system, is a tragedy of great proportion. It is time to exercise our intellectual muscles for a change and take responsibility for our lives.

It is only through knowledge that humankind can assume control of its destiny and cease to wander aimlessly, and sometimes with malice, through life.Adopting a philosophy which includes a metaphysical approach to the Universe will enable us to rise up, becoming the benevolent and loving seekers of wisdom that we are intended to be.We must keep in mind that the entire purpose of individuated human consciousness is to attain wisdom. To the degree that goal is achieved, each of us can contribute to the wisdom of the Universe.

Covered in this book:
* The Universe as a Sentient and Spiritual Being
* The Multidimensional Spirit
* The Nature of Mattergy
* A New View of Evolution
* Multiple Incarnations
* Spirit of Man, Plants and Animals and their Connections to the Universe
* Parallel Pulse Dimensions

A medical doctor of over 40 years explores the nature of reincarnation and man’s role in the universe. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars An Epic Read
Wow...that's all I can say...Wow.

The author has captured the essence of the intelligent consciousness which makes up all that Is in a way few have been able to.This book isn't just about reincarnation...it is about our place within existence, and the Author has captured this sentiment beautifully.

Other than saying "Buy This Book", there isn't much to say...I can only hope that those of you who don't necessarily "believe" in "reincarnation" don't avoid this book based solely on the title.Reincarnation is only a word...and the truth that this book contains transcends words and labels.

I have nothing but praise for this book...and, while it didn't necessarily teach me anything that I didn't already know...it was an affirmation to what I had already come to know as "True".The truth may be expressed in different ways by different people, but truth is what is...and there's no getting around that.

This text details the life histories of five westerners who have been identified as the reincarnations of high-ranking Tibetan lamas. Reincarnation masters are men and women who through meditation techniques can steer their consciousness at the time of death to the precise rebirth of their choice. Vicki Mackenzie discovers who these reincarnates are, how they are identified, and what their mission is. En route she also encounters those leading the way in Western research into the phenomenon of past lives. The book examines how we may live more than one life, and all the myriad implications that concept implies. In doing so, it focuses on the debate currently occupying the scientific world - the nature of consciousness and of the mind itself. ... Read more

Product Description
The research presented by Robert Powell in this book shows that a new science of the stars is possible, based on a study of reincarnation and karma. Willi Sucher did much to pioneer the development of a new star wisdom, or astrosophy, as a scientific tool for the investigation of karma. Powell has discovered that applying the science of astrosophy to the findings of karma research reveals--through the discovery of astrological reincarnation rules--the foundations underlying star wisdom. Once these foundational findings relating to astrological reincarnation research have been assimilated, a reformation of traditional astrology will inevitably take place. Once the new astrology is established, there will be a similar feeling in looking back upon traditional Western astrology that modern astronomers have when looking back upon the old geocentric astronomy.

The purpose of this book is to contemplate the incarnations of the prophet Elijah, with the goal of laying the foundation for a new "science of the stars" as the "science of karma." At the close of his last lecture, after discussing the sequence of incarnations of Elijah-John the Baptist-Raphael-Novalis, Rudolf Steiner spoke of this individuality as "a radiant and splendid forerunner...with whom you are to prepare the work that shall be accomplished at the end of the [twentieth] century, and will lead humankind past the great crisis in which it is involved." These words indicate that, from the end of the twentieth century and into the twenty-first century (that is, now), the Elijah-John individuality is to be a "radiant forerunner" for humanity in the next step underlying our spiritual evolution.

Elijah Come Again presents a scientific approach toward unveiling the mystery of human destiny. This theme is timeless in nature--yet timely, nevertheless, in the recounting of the unfolding destiny and mission of the Old Testament prophet Elijah. This individuality, whose various incarnations are explored in this book, is of such spiritual weight and stature as to call forth both rain and fire from heaven in the service of humanity's evolution toward communion with the spiritual forces of love and morality that live in the human heart as the abiding presence of the living Word. "Elijah does come first to restore all things" (Mark 9:12). These words of Christ apply now--in relation to the ongoing fulfillment of Elijah's mission in the world at the present time toward the peoples of the Earth. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Readable!
One of the best books I have read that brings all the major religions - both ancient and modern - under the one umbrella of Truth as it pertains to Reincarnation and Karma. If you are still having trouble understanding these two concepts, you won't after you read this book.Very satisfying!

5-0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Overview
Written close to a century ago, this is still a relevant and timeless text. Atkinson does a great job in developing, in a logical order the societal history and application of Reincarnation and the Law Of Karma. Hetraces the concept of Transmigration of souls through Egyptian, Chaldean,Druid, Roman, Greek, Jewish, Essene, Early Christian, Hindu societies. Hethen explores current modern applications (remember he is a contemporary ofMadame Blavatsky) and the explores issue sof what happens betweenIncarnations, issues of Justice and Incarnation, and then presents a anargument for and against Reincarnation. Finally he reviews the Law ofKarma. I think that this book, in tandem with "The Kybalion" willevoke the reader to explore Blavatsky's "Secret Doctrine" andother related Theosophical works. I would rate this a "must have"for any serious spiritual library. ... Read more

Product Description
Edgar Cayce (1877–1945) was the premier mystic/psychic of the Western world, whose many predictions about reincarnation, evolution of the soul, health issues, and Earth changes comprise a legacy that affected countless people. Cayce also predicted that he would return in 1998. Through facts and circumstances, channeler David Wilcock makes a convincing case that he is the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. His parallels to Cayce include a remarkable physical resemblance, astrological charts, personality traits, correlations in the development and awareness of their psychic abilities, and the apparent connections of Wilcock’s close friends to Cayce’s intimate associates. Wilcock also examines Cayce’s many predictions about global health issues and Earth changes, and gives guidance to those who want to understand the significance of these changes now taking place. Black-and-white photographs enhance this examination of the spiritual legacy of Edgar Cayce by the man who claims to be his reincarnation. ... Read more

Loved it and it was inspiring to want to make myself a better person in each moment.

5-0 out of 5 stars Edgar Cayce Reincarnation
I have just started reading this book but once I get started on it I don't want to put it down.

5-0 out of 5 stars AN AMAZING READ!
I've only recently discovered the details of Edgar Cayce and his beliefs/healings. When I stumbled across this book I was oddly anxious to get my hands on it since I'm not a huge book reader. Low and behold it is exactly the information I need in my recent experiences. I too have been experiencing the feeling that we are going through a dimensional shift of some sort and that information/energy has been flowing through my consciousness.

But in this book the similarities between Cayce and Wilcock are profound! Everything from Wilcock's appearance to his astrological chart in comparison to Cayce's . Non believers might walk away saying...hmm are we preparing to ascend? I left the book saying, Wow the world is not going to end, it is getting ready to evolve!

4-0 out of 5 stars I'm convinced
Is David Wilcock the reincarnation of Edgar Casey? More than likely, as far as I am concerned. You'll have to read it for yourself to make up your mind. Compelling.

1-0 out of 5 stars A poorly written self promotion
This book is so poorly written that I was sure it was produced by one of those Vanity Presses.I was very surprised to see that Amazon sold this amateur written work of self-promotion.The cover of the book depicts a very small picture of David Wilcox. This is one in a serious of coincidences which attempt to make the case that David Wilcox is the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce.Although I have studied various spiritual paths that believe in reincarnation, this is the first time work in which looking similar was a prerequisite for reincarnation. (p146) This would invalidate the Dali Lama when he speaks of reincarnating as the opposite sex or even as an animal during various incarnations.

It is very difficult to wade through all the trivialities and repetition in this book. The first portion is devoted to Wilcox's biography.By page 95, the book makes the case that Wilcox is actually "Ra-Ta", an Egyptian high priest in 10,500 BC.This allows Wilcox the ability to channel "Ra"- a "social memory complex".Various Ra predictions are entered as evidence including:the name of a restaurant, which was then driven by the next day, a parking ticket, and of course - the bombing of the World Trade Towers. The bombing prediction was not released to the public "due to (it's) ominous prediction", but we are assured that "the original audiotapes are preserved in chronological order".The remainder of the book is information taken from the Ra readings and Wilcox's summaries of "research".

The A.R.E. organization does not recognize David Wilcox as the incarnation of Edgar Cayce. They were wise not to hitch their wagon to Wilcox, due to the nature of Wilcox's current work.Google Video had a posting of Wilcox's presentation at the Conscious Life Expo (2007?).Conspiracy theorists often use the tactic:If "A" is true, and "B" is true, then "C" must be true. However, David fails to make the case for A or B.Citing crop circles as works of E.T's, then pine cones in ancient Pagan art (they're really pineal glands, not pine cones), then onto "stargates hidden under Antartica"... the presentation relies on a great sense of imagination (and gullibility). Then Wilcox shows slide after slide of Sci Fi films, and proclaims that all these inventions are real. The "black ops" guys feed information from these secret government operations to screen writers, who then incorporate them into movies. Then if we question a "reverse-engineered pineal gland chair" (a real Wilcox assertion) - that the government will insist it's "just a movie". The term given was "hiding in plain site".

Unfortunately, this work of self-promotion goes well beyond simple entertainment.I was lead to investigate Wilcox after learning an acquaintance of mine sent this man over $1000 in donations to continue his work.It reminds me of those televangelists who solicit donations from the elderly;my acquaintance has sunk deeper into debt while sending Wilcox cash.Do your own investigation of Wilcox.Learn about peer-reviewed journals versus studies published in obscure magazines. Watch the National Geographic documentary on crop circles. If you are still attracted to conspiracy theorists and do not require factual proof for your beliefs, then Wilcox may be to your liking.

Product Description

At last, science and the soul shake hands. Writing in a style that is both lucid and charming, mischievous and profound, Dr. Amit Goswami uses the language and concepts of quantum physics to explore and scientifically prove metaphysical theories of reincarnation and immortality.

In Physics of the Soul, Dr. Goswami helps you understand the perplexities of the quantum physics model of reality and the perennial beliefs of spiritual and religious traditions. He shows how they are not only compatible but also provide essential support for each other. The result is a deeply broadened, exciting, and enriched worldview that integrates mind and spirit into science.

One of today's pioneering thinkers in science and spirituality, Dr. Goswami taught physics for 32 years, was a professor of Theoretical Science at the University of Oregon, and is currently senior resident researcher at the world-renowned Institute of Noetic Sciences. He is an advocate of "monistic idealism," the philosophy that defines consciousness, not materiality, as the primary reality.

2-0 out of 5 stars Kind Of Hard To Follow
It pains me to have to give this book less than four stars because the ideas in it are surely needed today.

The problem I have is that the author presents the ideas in a sort of disjointed fashion.

This style of writing makes it slightly hard to follow from one tenet to the next.

The other problem I have is that while reading, I don't get a sense that the author has had much personal experience of the things he writes about.

I get this weird feeling (don't ask me to explain it) that I am getting a second hand account of things.

The other thing is that, I know that he is trying to be as scientific as possible in his explanation of the soul, but he only ends up overdoing his effort.

For instance on page 96 he writes:

"The causal laws of physics are deterministic laws. Given initial conditions on position and velocity and the causal agents (forces) acting on the system, the laws of motion determine the future of all nonliving systems."

I just wish he would write more plainly so that I could follow it. Thanks.

3-0 out of 5 stars Metaphysics of soul
Consciousness and the laws of physics are highly intertwined to define physical reality. This relationship is murky since consciousness does not appear in any equations, although it is invoked in the interpretation of quantum phenomenon. Consciousness is not treated as a physical entity, like space and time (both of which can be measured in physical terms), and it does not have a physical existence like matter (or energy), but it is associated with living mater such as a human being. Purely from physical (and mathematical) considerations, very few have provided satisfactory explanations for consciousness and laws of physics, except for physicists like David Bohm and Roger Penrose. From neurobiological considerations efforts have been made to correlate these two concepts by Carl Jung, Karl Pribram, Stanislov Groff, Gerald Edelman, and many others. From metaphysical point of view, many from the school of Vedanta (Hindu philosophical tradition), school of Buddhist philosophy, early Greek philosophers and modern-day thinkers have dwelled in this subject, but a perfect harmony between physics and consciousness is not yet achieved. One of the problems is of course the implied dualism in the interaction of nonmaterial entities like consciousness or soul with physical body. Do we mean soul and body are two different things? How do we account for consciousness in the physics of an atom or a molecule? Is consciousness a fundamental force or a medium? How is it related to the other four fundamental forces of nature? There are many questions which require answers. In this book, the author considers soul, reincarnation, and transmigration in his explanation of physical reality. He is somewhat bold in suggesting the reader to consider data from; paranormal research, extrasensory perception (ESP), telepathy, near-death experience (NDE), and UFO encounters to gain knowledge about soul and consciousness. Certainly this approach may interest many mystics, spiritualists and new age groups, but very few physicists take these suggestions seriously.

The quantum physical basis for consciousness described by the author is mainly theoretical with little experimental support. This is summarized as follows: Reality pervades as undivided consciousness, as quantum wave function with probabilities for various possible states. Hence, consciousness is non-local; it is spread out across space and time. The act of observation leads to the collapse of this wave function into a self-reference that splits consciousness into apparent subject-object experience, which the author calls tangled hierarchy. The quantum measurement occurs in all living cells not just species with brain, but in the latter, thought, memory, mind, learning, etc., play a significant role in the subject-object relationship, and consciousness exists at various levels of complexities; the brain, organs, tissues, and cells. In addition, it is proposed that all individuals have subtle bodies besides the physical body. They are connected with our particular life processes. These are; a mental body (connected with our individualized ways of mentation); and a supramental body (that contains the learned themes of movement of the mind); and the vital body (bodies made of substances that are ethereal in nature). These subtle bodies neither interact with the phys¬ical body nor with each other, but they run parallel with the physical body. The subtle bodies are also quantum possibilities within consciousness. The subtle bod¬ies are also non-local (less localizable) and do not directly interact with the physical bodies, but consciousness recognizes parallel simul¬taneous states of the physical and subtle body for its experience. The consciousness synchronistically collapse similar states for non-locally separated brains that are suitably correlated. And the collapse of a unique state of experience into actuality is one of recognition and choice (quantum characteristics), not one of exchange of energy, so it is surmised that problems of dualistic interaction do not exist (classical characteristics). Consciousness mediates the interactions between subtle bodies or subtle body and a physical body, maintaining parallelism. But the bodies do not interact themselves directly thus avoiding dualism. Telepathy is a good example to support quantum non-locality of thought and mind.

Soul like consciousness is a quantum phenomenon. It survives death of the physical body, transmigrates and reincarnates in another body to form a continuum. Physical body represents quantum like possibilities that manifests as localized structure, but soul also represents quantum like possibilities (transcendent potentia) that has non-local correlation (can not be localized, could be anywhere in spacetime). Hence transmigration and reincarnation occurs through non-local quantum like phenomenon. The author invokes some parallel to the Tibetan book of the dead where various states of life and death called bardos form a continuum through life and death.

The author proposes that the memory of the vital and mental bodies is entirely quantum in nature (quantum memory) that occurs through conditioning of the possibility structure due to repeated experiences and it results from the basic dynamics of quantum mechanics. Thus, our individual mental and vital bodies are functional bodies, not structural like the physical body. Soul is the quantum monad, an individualized unit: The individualization of mind and vital body occur through quantum memory. This is the sole survivor of death of the material body, which carries the attributes from one life to another. It mediates reincarnation through transmigration.

The main problem with this theory is that quantum entanglement is known to occur between different quantum states (such as two spin states of an electron or a photon). How quantum entanglement or non-local interactions occur for subtle bodies whose physical states are unknown? Secondly, non-local interaction for larger bodies are very slow as described by quantum decoherence phenomenon. Is it possible that soul (consciousness) is a medium like ether (as invoked in Newtonian physics). Or is it a fundamental force linked to other four natural forces by unknown forces not yet discovered? The nature of dark matter and dark energy are still unknown. In light of these observations, I am uncertain if the author is on the right track.

4-0 out of 5 stars Physics of the Soul
Physics of the Soul: The Quantum Book of Living, Dying, Reincarnation and ImmortalityI think it is a very good work by one of the scientists who appeared on the What The Bleep movies.I do think that the title - Physics of the Soul - is a bit ambitious. It implies a rigorous scientific investigation of the soul and how it work. The truth is more much eastern religion, some science.Having said that - it is interesting easy to read, informative and educational.Just not all that scientific.

5-0 out of 5 stars Banish your fear of Death!
Physics of the Soul: The Quantum Book of Living, Dying, Reincarnation and Immortality by Amit Goswami was for me a look at the possibility that life continues on. I am a believer in God, so what was I worried about? Because not much is said about our state of existence in the scriptures, except for resurrection, then heaven. But where is heaven, our personality? Our soul. If there is no such thing as communicating with the deceased, then why do we as Christian profess the "communion with Saints"? I got a clear picture of some of these things in Mr. Goswami's book. By the way you will want to read all of his books!

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent food for thought
As a student of Dr. Goswami, i very much enjoyed his thoughts and the models that he proposes. While so many in hte west have been taught since childhood that we have a 'soul', we're never given much of a context within which to hold that concept. Dr. Goswami provides some interesting models, based on The Upanishads, that i am still thinking about and applying months after first reading this book. If you are a student of consciousness, metaphysics, or just curious about the possibilities, Physics of the Soul is a must read. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Groundbreaking and Thought Provoking
`Return of the Revolutionaries' applies a logical, coherent schema to something nebulous (life after death), by investigating and reporting commonalities within numerous case studies. The accounts are detailed, uncanny, thought-provoking, and challenging to most widely-held Western beliefs ... so if you can put your own prejudices aside and open your mind to the possibilities held within these pages, you might have a life changing experience; I certainly did. Kudos to Dr. Semkiw for his passion, his vision, his exhaustive work, and his willingness to introduce these theories to the world. This is a fascinating read.

5-0 out of 5 stars History Comes Alive
When I first heard Jeffrey Mishlove talk about Dr. Semkiw's identification of himself as the reincarnation of William James, I was so intrigued that I asked Mishlove to let me muscle test whether or not his energy system resonated with being James in a past life.It did, which convinced me of the accuracy of this correlation, which Mishlove himself prefers to call an "Archetypal Synchronistic Resonance."
This book brings history to life with an "inside story" of the American revolution, presenting both the strengths and the weaknesses of the major figures. One case history that particularly impressed me was Semkiw's identification of Michael Jackson as the reincarnation of Eston Hemmings, a very talented musician who was the illegitimate son of Thomas Jefferson and his slave Sally Hemmings.Semkiw pointed out that Jefferson, along with many other founding fathers, did not truly believe that all men are created equal, but that "all white men are created equal."
Semkiw repeats his main point over and over that when we truly accept that we incarnate in many different cultures and races, religious wars will vanish. He shows how the revolutionaries have reincarnated as today's spiritual leaders who are bringing awareness of the unity of all life. While I found the repetition of points from previous chapters a bit annoying, it did drive home the points and would have been even more helpful if I had been reading the book over a long period of time, when I needed my memory refreshed, rather than over the short time in which I devoured the contents!
As a psychotherapist who investigates the origin of emotional problems, I have been amazed to witness the past life stories my clients find which not only explain their current phobias or emotional impasses, but also release their problems in a quantum upward shift in functioning.Though I was raised in a traditional Christian church that opposed the theory of reincarnation, seeing its power to heal has won me over!

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding book!
Return of the Revolutionaries is an excellent read! It is full of truth and history and also has validation. I found myself going slowly at the end of the book just so I wouldn't finish it as fast! The case histories have been researched thoroughly by Dr. Semkiw and he also has Ahtun Re to validate accuracies. The stories ring true, in my heart, and it is not a surprise that these souls have returned to continue their helpfulness to mankind in their current incarnations. The people who give this book a low rated review, are just young souls that are ignorant and have not realized the truth of the world and the universal human. But it is exactly these type of people that need to read this type of book, and it is just icing on the cake for those of us that already know the truth. I would highly recommend this book to everyone!

2-0 out of 5 stars Self-Aggrandizing Bull
I do believe in reincarnation, but am always skeptical of people claiming to be famous in past lives. The author's claim to be the reincarnation of John Adams immediately made me wary. There have been more slave collars than crowns to wear throughout human history. Why does no one claim to be a pig farmer? I know the author addressed this in his own 5-star review, but it still doesn't ring true. I wanted to like this book, but just couldn't swallow it. As an artist, I found many of the claims of facial architecture "similarities" to be bogus or wishful thinking or both. It should also be noted that the almost 7 billion of us here now are descended from about 2,000 individuals, as recently found through mDNA studies. We're all cousins, genetically. As to the author's claim that we tend to incarnate as the same sex most of the time, and that souls are "gendered"...well, he has a right to his opinion. Sounds like the author's bias/issues to me. The book is well-written and entertaining, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of the 1 star I was inclined to give, but failed in its objective of "proof". Read it as entertainment, but not "scientific proof"--which I doubt we will ever achieve, anymore than we will achieve "proof" of an afterlife, or God. It's a matter of belief. Basically the whole book was written to bolster the author's claim to a famous past life. If the soul who incarnated as John Adams were incarnate today, no doubt he or she would have better things to do than writing this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fascinating food for thought and further exploration.
As the author states in the preface, that his is an invitation for more research and further investigation of his premise - which if found viable would make for a "kinder gentler world". -- He makes his arguments for reincarnation and knowing about his, and your own, past lives very plausable.Spirituality is not a exact science - you must "know that you know" or go on faith. -- This book presents valid points for your own decision making. -- I would reccommend it to anyone interested in furthering their own information base on the subject. -- It is well written, current, and the most complete book on this subject that I have read. ... Product Description
Many philosophies and religions believe that each individual living being has a unique inner essence, a unique personality, known as the soul. This belief dates back to Ancient Egypt, to at least about 3150 B.C. Many cultures also believe that the soul is immortal. Spiritualists have this same belief; we call this unique inner essence spirit.

Spiritualism is the belief that the body dies but the soul lives on as a spirit. It is the belief that the living can communicate with those who have passed. In this book, you will learn about different ways to communicate with those in spirit. You will learn about Spiritual gifts and how to discover and use your gifts. You will learn about the power of the mind, that thoughts are things, and that we create and destroy with our minds and our mouths. You will learn about Numerology, that numbers have meaning.

Through Spiritualism, you will learn to understand Natural Law, that what you give out comes back to you, that if you plant roses, you do not get carnations. Natural Law is very specific. You harvest what you plant. You reap what you sow. The Bible tells us; Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7)

At Memorial Spiritual Christian Church we make Spiritualism a religion. To that end I have included Bible verses as they relate to the topics discussed. If you have never been a fan of the Bible, please do not be put off by them. I was never a fan, but in writing this book I found that the Bible is full of wondrous stories, bits of wisdom, poetry and songs. The Bible verses shown, unless noted, are from the King James Version.

This book is about Spiritualism as Reverend Karen Hill teaches it at Memorial Spiritual Christian Church in Cleveland, Ohio.

Our church is a memorial to the Collinwood School Fire of 1908, a fire that took the lives of 172 children and 3 adults. The parents of one of the children lost in the fire donated the land for our church. This is the story of how their donation has changed the course of history for many people. Every one of us who worships regularly at Memorial Spiritual Christian Church will tell you how our lives have changed because of what we have learned here. ... Read more

The book is about the author, a first person perspective of his life.He discovers truths about choice, consciousness, metaphysics, and spirituality so profound that the only way he could share it with the world was by presenting his discoveries as fiction in a novel he wrote. He soon finds that he becomes targeted by powerful private interests who see his book as an indescribable threat. He encounters incredible paradigms of mind and body as he attempts to survive the very people and aliens who are hunting him.Upon the realization that he had discarded his human body for another from his incarnational past, he sees that he possesses the power to sculpt human culture. In his attempts to mold a utopia out of the Earth, he nearly wipes out humanity. The book is similar in design to a memoirs that quickly spirals into a wild fantasy, all of which occurs in the realities of his mind and our world. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Simply marvelous! Powerful writing!
I just finished reading Threads: The Reincarnation of Anne Boleyn. I am at a loss to write a review that does it justice. I absolutely loved this book.

On the surface it is the story of Queen Anne (Boleyn) of England. However, it is a multi-layered book that takes careful reading to discover the 'hidden' layers. Please take the time to read it carefully so you won't miss anything. It is worth it to do so.

The writer (Nell Gavin) tells the story as if she herself were Anne Boleyn telling us what happened to her in her life as Queen Anne of England, and in other lives as well. The writing is so skillful that I keep wondering how she (Nell) made Threads so realistic that I find myself believing that every word of this book could be true, SHOULD be true. It's as if the author of Threads channelled Anne Boleyn in order to tell this story.

Wonderfully powerful writing. Great job (no - fabulous job), Nell Gavin!

5-0 out of 5 stars A True Gem!
I fell in love with this book. This is the story of Anne Boylen and her various lives, told in flashbacks from right after her execution.Using reincarnation as a theme, Nell Gavin weaves an intricate story of love betrayal and ultimately forgiveness that spans centuries. The story focuses mainly on Anne Boylen and the life she spent with Henry VIII, but it does touch on her other lives as learns important life lessons. My simple review can't do this book justice, so suffice it say that this is an amazing book that was very touching and well written. You'll love the story and you will turn the pages as quickly as possible to find out what happens to the characters.

I really liked the author's notes.Nell Gavin explains where she deviated from history.Although the books was historically accurate for the most part, she did deviate in parts and I like that she points these out.My memory of Tudor history isn't the best!I also enjoyed her note at the end of the book.I liked to hear the author's perspective on her own work. There are so many layers to this book and her notes are a great addition.I loved reading them and comparing to my own conclusions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Disciplined, spare, evocative, and occasionally quite moving
Threads is one of my great Kindle discoveries. It's not exactly about reincarnation. Rather, it uses reincarnation to expand the possibilities of the story itself and the meaning within the story. Most of Threads centers on the tempestuous relationship between Anne Boleyn and King Henry VIII. There's not really that much "jumping around" to other times and places, and what jumping there is, is done with a purpose. My favorite jump was the longest, a chapter about a troop of jongleurs in the 14th(?)c. I'm an amateur historian, but this was a fascinating depiction of a segment of medieval life that was new to me.

Speaking of which, you can also read Threads as historical fiction. Within the confines of making a good story (always job number one), the history is spot on.

I judge from a few (only a few) of the reviews that the first half of this book, for some, is a bit long on speculation and soul-searching, short on action. Fear not. There's more action in the second half.

And oh yeah, the writing is there, too - disciplined, spare, evocative, and occasionally quite moving.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Book, Not Your Average Anne and Henry Story...
I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I started this, but it's certainly not what I got. This book is much deeper than I was prepared for. While I really enjoyed it, I can see how some people would be turned off by it. If you're looking for another historical fiction piece of fluff on Henry and Anne, then look elsewhere, cause you will not find it here.

I think I was expecting more about Anne and Henry being reincarnated. I assumed the majority of the book would be them in the 1970's, with Anne trying to forgive...not at all. In fact, they don't come back in the 70's until the very end of the book. The majority of this story is Anne reflecting on her past lives (mainlyher most recent one, her stint as Queen of England) from heaven just after being executed in 1536. She describes in deep detail her family life while growing up in Heaver; her time spent in France learning how to be a charming courtier; and finally, her loving, yet turbulent relationship with the King of England, Henry VIII.

She describes in great detail her thought process behind certain events that ended up changing history, and the face of Englands religion. The real reason she held Henry off sexually for 6 years. Her relationship with Queen Katherine, Hal Percy, and the few friends she had. While I personally don't believe for a second that Anne was anything other than a vindictive social climber who was looking out only for herself, I realized that this was 'Historical Fantasy'. While I may not agree with everything Ms. Gavin proposed, I enjoyed reading her take on the situation. It's not an opinion I've read about anywhere else, and one I am not likely to come across again.

In the end, if you have a true appreciation for the Tudor story, and enjoy reviewing their history from all angels, then this is a book for you. However, if you're only interested in the gossipy 'Philippa Gregory' style of Tudor history, then you should skip this. It will be much more in-depth than you're probably looking for. A great and imaginative story, and one I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Thanks Ms. Gavin.

4-0 out of 5 stars A new genre, please... fiction>reincarnation
A complex historical exploration of past lives entwined, namely Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII.Forgiveness may well be the most difficult part of life, especially when encountering souls from other lifetimes when we do not know why we feel as we do. But imagine being executed by the person in question.

The characters develop their relationships, from before Christ's birth through several incarnations, the last being the late twentieth century. Since the author was crafting a story of `fantasy' against the historically-correct Tudor England background, Nell Gavin used as a central resource, Alison Weir's, The Six Wives of Henry VIII.This spurred creativity and possibilities that those who wish to believe only the documented historical fact may not be open to accept. In my opinion, this reincarnation insight is most favorable.I loved it.

A Faulkner Awards novel. Sensitive, believable, spiritual, fascinating. For open-minded readers, interested in spiritual transformation and reincarnation.

Product Description
In this striking new paradigm of God, truth, and the meaning of life, Stewart describes the soul and how it evolves using the human body. He offers us his experience of the soul’s journey and graphically illustrates how it reaches beyond our world to higher beings for guidance. He shines a brilliant light on the mysteries and powers of hidden entities we have always called gods.

In the introductory volume of the New Awareness Trilogy, Stewart lays the foundation for the striking volumes to follow. He teaches us how we can tap the hidden power of our souls and get exactly what we want from life. We learn how our spirit guides can accelerate our spiritual growth. Here, we meet his guides, and how they have shared their view of the soul and life beyond our world.

Through techniques of channeled wisdom, Stewart shares with us what his guides have taught him: what the soul is, how it functions in a physical world, and why it chooses the experiences of this world. He shows us how humanity is the fulfillment of a measured purpose, in which we each have a role. If you have ever wondered why we are here, here are some answers!

Stewart graphically outlines the nature of the inner self that is the true you. Here are ancient truths presented in a modern perspective, a new form of mysticism: you can choose your destiny and discover your own unique purpose in life.

"Well-written and informative." R.H., Norfolk, VA"I wish to congratulate you and thank you for a fine piece of work." B.G., Blauvelt, NY

A monumental exploration of the soul! A gripping view of higher beings who lead us in our personal quest!

From the text:

"How did the life on this world get started? In fact, what is life? Is there anything that we can point to and say, there, that is life? Remove that, and you remove life from the body?" "The soul transcends us from simple animals fearing only death to higher intelligences, asking about the nature of the universe. It is a mechanism for growth."

"We know that life adapts, or tries to adapt, to everything it encounters. Why would it not have adapted to corporeal death?"

"Divine purpose is imposed on us by the inherent substance and ground of the universe."

"From simplistic ghost stories to complex theological systems, the human experience has always led to a world view that includes alternate realities."

"Can this delicate balance of temperature, atmosphere, and light-energy that breathes life into a wondrously complex biosphere called Earth be just an accident?"

"The quest, then, is not so much to determine how the human mind can be derived from our organic bodies, but whether."

"Can it be that our liberal, secular educations are couching us all in a frame of mind that no longer allows us to conceive openly of worlds and life beyond the temporal?"

"Far from miracles happening only in ancient days, people still experience other-worldly phenomena daily." ... Read more
