1865. Volume 1 of 2. Metaphysics. The lectures found in this volume constitute the first portion of the Biennial Course which the lamented author was in the habit of delivering during the period of his occupation of the Chair of Logic and Metaphysics in the University of Edinburgh. The author himself, adopting the Kantian division of the mental faculties into those of Knowledge, Feeling and Conation, considers the philosophy of mind as comprehending, in relation to each of these, the three great subdivisions of psychology, or the science of the phenomena of mind; nomology, or the science of its laws; and ontology, or the science of results and inferences. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Crystal Companions
In this book Marion Webb-De Sisto offers us a wonderful offering of information on the Mineral Kingdom. She has already written about the Crystal Skulls - but now she takes us even further in exploring different techniques in working with the crystals. This is a very rich read .. after a third read I am still mining the various possibilites to access the generous power of the crystals.

I especially found that her sharing about Crystal Mandalas and Grid Works arrived at the best moment ever for me.I will also most definitely be exploring the information about building and disassembling of an etheric structure (pyramid)very soon.

Maz (as Marion prefers to be called) writes from her heart, but also from very solid experience she has gathered in the time she spent with the International College of Crystal Healing. She is also a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and I enjoy her sharing in creating Gem and Flower Elixirs.Maz has also been led to create her own Reiki *brand* of healing process -- "Elestial Reiki" and,here-inshe explores some of her work.

In this book she has asked some fellow explorers working with theMineral Kingdom to share their experiences in various aspects, egchanneling, scrying, tarot, pendulums and dowsing, with the crystals.

This is a must-have read to all of us who are working with the energies of the Mineral Kingdom.

A warm "Thank you" for this inspirational book Maz !

5-0 out of 5 stars The Crystal Source Book
I condider this book a clasic. It has been out of print for years. As I had only one copy,(that I will not let out of my sight), I wanted a seccond copy to show people and maybe even loan to people, that I can trust to return it. I started healing with crystals in the early 90's.As it has articles and mini bio's of some very distinguished professionals,(as in scientists and physicians), I use this book to help educate the nay-sayers about the value of using crystals for healing, and to prove there is also science and research behind their use.

5-0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended for every crystal enthusiast!
This book covers many topics, from highly spiritual and rarified views to the mundane and scientific side of mineralogy and mining. Many excellent contributors left their marks on this book, including some of the biggest and brightest names in the crystal world, such as Frank Dorland, Brett Bravo, Nick Nocerino, Dael Walker, Rev. Dr. Frank Alper, and Robert Fritchie. This is also one of the few published writings of Marcel Vogel, a crystal legend who once worked for IBM.

The articles in this book range from "the Mining and Marketing of Herkimer Diamonds," to topics such as shamanic and Native American teachings, use of gemstones, making gem elixirs/tinctures, crystal ceremonies, crystal skulls, the Keys of Enoch, Healing applications of all sorts (including animals in particular), and the interactions with the human energy system. There are a lot of wonderful essays and articles in this book. There is something for everyone.

In her bestseller The Gift, Echo Bodine helped readers understand and develop their psychic abilities. Here, she expands the material into a step-by-step course that strengthens and refines clairvoyance, clairaudience, and other psychic abilities that can be used to achieve healing, clarity, and guidance. Ample journaling space allows readers to record progress, expectations, fears, visions, and other thoughts, while a CD of guided meditations and visualizations offers additional inspiration. 4-0 out of 5 stars Good Basic Information
I bought THE KEY for my granddaughter. However, after reading I came to a page where it states that the books is not for young people. Teenagers should wait until after high school, so the book is put away until she older. The information I read sounded good. I mentioned the former for anyone who, like me, was considering it for anyone under 18.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Book
Book contained alot of information from previous books, but information was easy to find for review. CD nice addition.

5-0 out of 5 stars the key
I would recomend this book to anyone trying to who is trying to open up doors they already know are there. It teaches methods, and excercises to use to help you learn. I found it to be very helpful, and will be buying her other book the The Gift. Thanks.

2-0 out of 5 stars too basic
I was highly disappointed in both the book and Cd.Both are basic to the point of being useless. The book is short and filled with blank pages for journaling. Most of the exercises require a partner which might not be doable or convenient for many. The writing is on a fourth grade level.

If you know absolutely nothing about psychic development, you might receive some marginal benefit from this package. Otherwise, you would do better to examine other products and invest your time and money elsewhere.

5-0 out of 5 stars Are you ready to learn more about your own psychic abilities?
The quality of the product was very high and I'd order from this company again. The process is so easy too. This book is very easy to read and understand.Ms. Bodine goes into the basics but also explains details as to the specifics of learning about using your own psychic abilities. She has a "real life" way of giving you first hand advice on looking at the whole idea of becoming more psychic. Her examples showed me that I had already been having psychic experiences but didn't know that that was what was happening.I bet you too have been having them, but just shrugged them off as 'you being weird', as I did. There really is something to this whole thing...I'm no longer afraid of it and want to learn more about how I can make better decisions in my life.Perhaps you are ready too? ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Worth reading if you want an overview of the Seth material
If you are looking for a condensed and easy to read take on Seth material and the writings of Jane Roberts, this book is to Jane Roberts what Gary Renard's DU is to ACIM.

4-0 out of 5 stars Really good book for those seeking change!
Change your mind and the way you see things and you change your life!
*Now, this book says much more than that, but that's the lowest level of what it offers. That alone is enough to change a man's life.
*This book just hit the right notes for me, after years of practicing various spiritual methods and getting distracted with Asian philosophies to match my Asian martial arts practice. One day, I had an insight/ inspiration in the matter... and this book made it all so much clearer for me when I found it about a year later.
*It's a shortened version of all the more traditional methods of consciously creating your own reality. It makes ritual more internalized, which means ordinary men/ women can afford it.
*I recommend the book. At the least, do like I did... go to your library and borrow it, make copious notes, and take it back. After a couple years or so, you may actually still want to buy it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Too many predictable, self-serving anecdotes
This book is filled with story after story of how the author is able to achieve her daily goals by being in the right state of mind.
These anecdotes take up most of the book and I found them very predictable and not very inspiring.
Other than the stories, there are some Seth/Jane Roberts inspired insights that are worth reading or studying.
On the whole, there is way too much fluff that detracts from the content of this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book creates a new excitement about living-day by day.
Dahl reminds us to be constantly vigilant with our thoughts and beliefs in order to create the reality we desire for ourselves. She does not claim to have discovered something new, but rather reminds those who are familiarwith the Seth material, and those who may not have yet independentlydiscovered it, that each of us is personally responsible for thecircumstances of our lives.I have consciously used some of the moresimple illustrations of creating what I choose to experience, and it works. We do create our own reality - NOW.

5-0 out of 5 stars How to change your life.
As a science oriented person I can understand thecontroversy over some of the issues contained throughout this material. However, not only have I developed a renewed understanding of my "self",I am able tointegrate my understanding of "this" reality with that of whichwe have all forgotten. This book has given me the key to our forgotten system, and it is up to us as individualswhether or not we are willing toremember. Why not? This book is fantastic! In my opinion, this materialdoes not represent any new, alternative perceptions of reality; it isourtraditional ways of thinking that are alternative! Enjoy:) ... Read more

Product Description
Psychic Politics is the result of Jane Roberts's search for the rules that govern our inner lives-the links between our daily, subjective experience and the greater Reality that nourishes all of our existence. This is not only her most challenging book, but a very personal investigation in which the sources of dream and myth, and the creative wellsprings of sex and spirituality, appear in their full and breathtaking relationship to daily life.

And here for the first time, Roberts introduces three concepts that are key to understanding her entire body of work: the library, a super-real storehouse of "probably" books that tell of the paths human consciousness has not yet taken; counterparts, simultaneous incarnations living on earth today so as to broaden the fabric of their individual soul's experience; and the codicils, an alternative set of rules for human existence that could transform the framework of our entire civilization. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Another one that requires more than one read....
I initially purchased Psychic Politics because it was being mentioned so much in the book I was currently reading and my curiosity was aroused.Having read Oversoul Seven Trilogy (which is 5 star book!) I thought it would be nice to read others that Jane personally had produced.Brought through in an altered state of consciousness from her visits to the library its a definite "read again". Up until now "The Nature of Personal Reality" was the only book I had flagged pages to return to - Psychic Politics is now my second. Not initially understandingthe choice of title, it all falls into place.I enjoyed getting to know Jane through this book and I feel the information contained within it is invaluable to the human race.I hope your curiosity is aroused enough to purchase it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jane at her best
I've read the Seth books and learned much from them, but some of the Jane books are even better. Seth can be tedious in comparison to Psychic Politics. I recommend The Seth Material, Seth Dreams..., Adventures in Consciousness and Psychic Politics, more or less in that order (although Seth Dreams was published much later). Adventures and Psychic Politics apply Seth/Jane's ideas to real life events in Jane's life, described in a vivid way that gives these books an added dimension, making them more immediately "real" and a true pleasure to read.
Thematically, I would summarize the ideas in this book as a system in which one learns to view the "aspects" of the psyche independently of any pre-conceived "frames" such as religious dogma. This approach is so profound and so sane that most belief systems seem trite in comparison. Jane is at her most enlightened here. I strongly recommend this book and the ones that lead up to it; read this after Adventures in Conscoiusness to get the most out of it.

5-0 out of 5 stars "Must" reading for students of metaphysics and spirituality.
Psychic Politics: An Aspect Psychology Book focuses on the links betweenordinary, everyday life and the greater Reality that nourishes allexistence. The late Jane Roberts (1929-1984), the author of the Seth books, was considered to be one of the foremost psychics of our times and inPsychic Politics introduces three concepts that are key to understandingthe entire body of her literary and metaphysical work: the library (asuper-real storehouse of "probable" books that tell of the pathshuman consciousness has not yet taken); Counterparts (simultaneousincarnations living on earth today so as to broaden the fabric of theirindividual soul's experience); and the codicils (an alternate set of rulesfor human existence that have the capacity to transform the framework ofhuman civilization. Psychic Politics is "must" reading forstudents of metaphysics, psychology, and human spirituality.

5-0 out of 5 stars Jane's Usual Excellent Stuff
This is a "Jane" book as opposed to a "Seth" book; itdovetails very well with Vols 1 and 2 of "Unknown Reality: A SethBook".Much of the book presumes a prior reading of "Adventuresof Consciousness" (another "Jane" book) so I would suggestyou read that one first.

I find this particular "Jane"book very helpful in expounding on some of the things Seth discusses in"Unknown Reality". ... Read more

Edgar Cayce, America's best-documented psychic, predicted a shift of the Earth's poles sometime between 1998 and 2001. 4-0 out of 5 stars Timing Was Off, But Just By A Few Years
People need to re-read this book and simply mentally erase the 1998-2001 dates and instead insert the words "soon" and "quickly forthcoming" and other near-future tense phrases.

Peak Oil. Resource wars. Mass species die-offs. Wacked out weather. World wide political turmoil. Phase of massive sun-spot activity. Economic bubbles going bust. Fanaticism of every flavor imaginable. Pre-emptive military aggressions. Corporate facism. Social breakdown. Pole shift.

Swimming pools, movie stars.

All we need now is a plague of GMO frogs.

Wackos are often merely sane visionaries attempting to speak wisdom to madmen who wrongly think themselves as sane.

2012 is quickly approaching. Prepare thyself.

2-0 out of 5 stars help the axis of evil has shifted!!!
the problem wiht psychic prediction is that they can often be a bit 'symbolic'. Maybe Cayce was getting his metaphors mixed and was forseeing the drastic change in political climate from the 'axis of evil? shiftin!!!.
i guess it keeps me entertained!

i don't need a psychic to tell me that. But if you need one apparently the next opportunity to be proved right is in 2012.

1-0 out of 5 stars The sky is falling!
According to this fascinating, and well-researched book, the planet Earth is about to suffer a shift in the axis of its rotation, which will cause catastrophic damage. Worst of all, this shift is unavoidable, and will occur BEFORE the end of 2001.

Oh...wait a minute...never mind.

On second thought, don't buy this book.

5-0 out of 5 stars Unprecedented Analysis of Cayce's Earth Change Readings
In this book, author William Hutton analyzes Edgar Cayce's startling psychicpredictions for coming earth changes. As a degreed geologist and student ofCayce,I found the author's careful analysis of earth changereadings the most complete and scientific ever documented.Cayce spoke of upheavals in Utah, Nevada, and southern California which conform to what wenow know about seismo-tectonics in these areas.Thisinformation wasdeveloped by geoscientists years after Caycegave his "readings"for the western region.

Some of Cayce's more catastrophic predictionssuggest that "Los Angeles, San Francisco, most all of these will beamong those that will be destroyedbefore New York even."Under"most all of these" apparently vulnerableplaces Huttondescribes what can happen to the cities of the northwesternstates, likeSeattle and Portland, if Earth's tectonic plates suddenlyaccelerate intheir movement in response to a pole shift. Here again, theauthor drawsupon the latest geophysical information to explain how suchpredictionsare not only possible, but probable, should Cayce's pole shiftoccur.

Possible physical, mental, and spiritual causes of potential Earthchangesare covered as well. This book is perhaps the most thoroughanalysis of Cayce's earth change readings ever written and is well worth acareful read by anyone curious about the psychic's predictions for ourplanet.

4-0 out of 5 stars Scientist Says We Are At The Brink Of A Pole Shift
According to this book, the many Earth changes that were predicted in Cayce'spsychic readings will be occuring soon (before the end of 2001).They willbe due to the beginning of a shift in Earth's poles.Mr. Huttonbelievesthat the poles cannot shift more than about 10 degrees, but thatthemechanism of pole shift will be able to move units of the crust of theEarthup and down, to the point of causing parts of Atlantis to rise offthe Eastcoast and parts of Lemuria, another "lost continent,"to rise in the Pacific. He refers to evidence from modern geology studiesthat indicate that bothcontinents once existed. The author carefullydocuments Cayce's record ofpast successful predictions of Earth changes, including earthquakes inCalifornia. Some of the predictions soundextreme, by historical standards. But they are fascinating nonetheless. Imagine part of New York beingsubmerged, San Francisco and Los Angelesdestroyed, and the greater portionof Japan submerged beneath the Pacific. The spiritual answers to such eventsare treated also by Hutton in thisinteresting and informative book.Onealso is forced by Hutton to thinkabout how we humans, as spritual beings whohave fallen asleep inmateriality, may be hastening our own demise here atthe beginning of anew millennium, and what role esoteric teachings mighthave in ourmodifying the worst Earth change events. ... What is consciousness?Where does it go when we die?Ronald Russell explores the answers to questions like this in his latest book, The Vast Enquiring Soul.A graduate of Oxford University, Russell has written thirteen other books. He describes this one as "a journey of exploration into the further reaches of consciousness."He says that consciousness is "our ability to know and understand, to be aware of ourselves and the world around us."

As part of his explorations, Russell delves into matters like psychokinesis (mind over matter), distant healing, remote viewing, and near-death and out-of-body experiences. His research has led him to the conclusion that consciousness "doesn't reside merely in the brain, but within our bodies, the earth, and the universe."

He relies not only on his own studies, but also those conducted by others from a variety of disciplines. He very neatly weaves all the available information into a tapestry of science, philosophy, theology, poetry, history, and the paranormal.

Russell says that consciousness is a part of everything that happens from before we're born until after we die.He asserts that consciousness isn't the same as soul--that our souls are the essential part of us that holds all our aspects, including mind, body, and consciousness, together. He urges the scientific world to consider the soul, and consciousness, when doing research; and advocates a new branch of study devoted to learning more about both the soul and consciousness and their roles in making us who and what we are.

"The more we can discover about our consciousness," Russell says, "the more of our potential as human beings we are likely to realize."The Vast Enquiring Soul is essential reading for all those interesting in exploring the most interesting frontier of all--their own consciousness.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nourishment for Your Vast Enquiring Soul
Ronald Russell defines consciousness as "our ability to know and understand, to be aware of ourselves and the world around and beyond us." He takes as his subject all circumstances in which our consciousness moves into altered states and seems to extend its reach beyond material reality into other realms. "The work and personality of the late Robert Monroe" and The Monroe Institute (TMI) programs are acknowledged as his inspiration. Extraordinary experiences of ordinary individuals--usually discounted by established science--are the foundation of Russell's case.

Russell addresses the core issue of how mind may influence matter and transcend space and time by scrutinizing psychokenesis, telepathy, premonition, precognition, deja vu, and remote viewing. He theorizes that distant healing, which affects a person without physical contact with the healer, may be a variant of telepathic communication. The near-death experience(NDE)is considered from the perspective of those who have "been there; done that" and from the perspective of researchers.

Communication with the "unbodied" and its implications receive in-depth considerations, from biblical prophecy, through the "auditory hallucinations" of the mentally disturbed, to the "voices" heard by the dying, to spiritualism and finally modern channeling. He personalizes the whole spectrum with the reminder that "...most of us in a variety of situations have heard ourselves say something pertinent or even profound without any forethought..."

Transcendence, which catapults the "separate" self into a state of fusion with all that is, seems closest to Russell's heart. His examination of the phenomenon is replete with examples drawn from the lives of authors, housewives, physicists, philosophers, astronauts, poets, scientists, TMI GATEWAY VOYAGE participants, and even death-and-dying authority Elisabeth Kubler-Ross.

Russell makes quite an impressive case for his major premise: subjective experiences such as ESP, telepathy, precognition, psychokinesis, NDEs, OBEs, and the transcendent moment, as well as abilities such as remote viewing, distant healing, and channeling, are reliable doorways into the dimensions in which consciousness reigns supreme. His arguments are closely reasoned and the abundance of personal accounts and academic references makes key resources readily accessible. If you truly hunger to know, be assured that there is quality nourishment here for your own "vast enquiring soul."

5-0 out of 5 stars An inspiring contribution to metaphysical studies
In The Vast Enquiring Soul: Explorations Into The Further Reaches Of Consciousness, Ronald Russell argues compellingly for the including of the human soul into everyday thought and conversation, that any scientific concept of the world will remain incomplete unless taking the soul into consideration. Russell evaluated current consciousness research by scientists, philosophers, paranormalists, theologians, poets and historians, and found that consciousness doesn't reside only in the brain, but within the whole body, the earth, and the universe. The Vast Enquiring Soul is an informative, articulate, fascinating, and at times inspiring, contribution to metaphysical studies and the nature of human consciousness.

2-0 out of 5 stars Review of The Vast Enquiring Soul
I was disappointed by this book.Having already read somewhat widely in many of the areas involved eg Out-of-Body experiences, Near Death Experiences etc, I had hoped that the author would have something fresh or penetrating to say.He hasn't. I felt that his survey was strangely idiosyncratic eg dealing with Edgar Cayce in a brief paragraph and never mentioning the Akashic records whereas spending a lot of time on healing. He also gives little space or in-depth commment to Stephensons work on re-birth (especially cases of children).Dean Radin is repeatedly referred to but it is never made clear what a tour-de-force Radins work is!

More fundamentally I was disappointed by what I felt was the wandering lack of punch in the authors analysis.Of course these are difficult areas, bordering at times on physics and replete with possibilities. But it is precisely because one can so easily lose ones way that I had hoped for solid analysis and intelligent expression of opinion.I don't know exactly what Russells education has been, but I felt he had a loose hold on the scientific method and standards of evidence.

5-0 out of 5 stars From a "Vast Enquiring Soul"
Ronald Russell has provided a large and valuable service for his readers by writing this book. For many years, I have been interested in the subjects covered; distant healing, out of body, near deathand transcendental experiences, remote viewing, channeling, etc.

Russell examines each of these areas in turn and presents historical information, research and insights in a well written and easily understood manner. He quotes liberally from the original researchers, experiencers, teachers and authors then goes on to add his own clear, concise observations and conclusions -- often with wit and humor.

I particularly liked his telling of the story of a little boy, recently arrived from India, who was asked by his British school teacher to write an essay about what animal he would prefer as a pet.He chose a cat and wrote, "The cat is a square animal with four legs, one at each corner. It also has nine lives, but it doesn't use these in Europe because of Christianity."

I became so excited by the presentation that about three quarters of the way through the book, I jumped ahead to the last few pages. I couldn't wait to see how Russell would manage to bring together the limitations of mind, matter, space and time with the seemingly unbounded potential of human consciousness. I don't want to spoil anyone's pleasure by giving away my discovery beyond reporting that, for this vast enquiring soul, the author succeeded with a very credible and creditable result. ... This book addresses the subject of possession, how to avoid it and when to seek help. If you feel the possibility of entities have influence over a human being is not possible, this book is not for you.If you are open to the possibilities of angels, entities and demons, then this book addresses from a prationers view point what to look for and and how negativity could influence an individual. There are many books on this subject, but this one addresses the issues from how prayer can help your life.I wouldn't try some of the workings on my own, but seek out someone who knows what they are doing.

Judy outlines the secret of life and death with her new book.It is part "how to live your life" manual and part "what it's all about" textbook. Both parts are fascinating, helpful, and comforting. She lovingly shares her story with you, gently bringing you into this world of spirituality and helps you understand your place in it.I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the meaning of life.

Heaven on Earth Judy opens another world for us all to see.Through all her pain she opens up and shares herself. You will laugh and you will cry. This book helps you to understand without lecturing. It's almost like sitting next to her and hearing her story. I recommend this book to anyone who has lost someone or to anyone who wants to understand what's next.

5-0 out of 5 stars Judy Fisher sees Heaven on Earth through her Daughter's Death
In Heaven on Earth, Fisher describes how Tammy, her youngest daughter was killed when a truck she was riding in flipped into a ditch. What followed was the unfolding of the author's grief and subsequent metamorphosis. While each chapter can stand alone, when pieced together the pages meticulously chronicle each step of Judy Fisher's search to find deeper meaning in the tragic loss of her fifteen year-old child.

Judy articulates a great depth of wisdom that she has gained over the nearly twenty-five years that have passed since her daughter's death. In that time, she has discovered her purpose on Earth and therefore seems to naturally attract people who are seeking the same answers she sought years ago. Readers will witness how the years of study and reflection following the death of her daughter changed the voice of the writer from the beginning of the book to the ending, the pain described at the beginning of the book fading into chapter after chapter of empowering truths. The larger truths that appear in this book include lessons that speak to the prevalent human desire for freedom from fear, loss, and grief. Acceptance, self-knowledge, and finding purpose are just a few chapters that inspire readers to see the greater lessons in all suffering and to seek their highest potential.

"Everyone that is affected by change will learn some type of lesson," Fisher writes. "There are many lessons to be learned...One such lesson could be to be kinder, to love more, to share more, and so forth.

"...You will learn to replace fears, doubts and worries with faith and trust. If you feel you failed, it is not a true feeling. You cannot fail--only learn!"

4-0 out of 5 stars heaven on earth
Heaven on Earth is a must read. It is a spiritual delight that helps
you see your light. From overcoming the grieve of a loves one's death
to coping with everyday delimmas. It is written for anyone to comprehend
and offers a much needed refreshing spiritual insight. It is essential
for the bedside table. The only problem with the book is that you are
going to want more from Mrs. Judy Fisher.

5-0 out of 5 stars Important Life Lessons
In her book, Heaven on Earth, Judy Fisher is able to take you through her own personal tragedy (the death of her youngest daughter Tammy, and later her other daughter, Debbie) and demonstrate her ability to climb out of the darkness to a place where her life was transformed.Through the pain she developed wisdom beyond what most can imagine. The information she conveys provides important tools for anyone, regardless of life experience, to handle the challenges of life. One of my favorite expressions of Judy's is, "What you think of me is none of my business!"That is a lesson that just yesterday I was teaching to my 6 year old son as he navigates, as we all did, the difficulties of childhood.I also found valuable her insights regarding the control we try to exercise over our lives. I know you will find yourself re-reading this book throughout your life. ... Read more

Mr. Carlos Castaneda accomplished the feat to introduce the ancient Inca-Shamanism (how to beckon the spirit, how to bring up supernatural power or our immaterial fibers or third attention called a phenix in Egypt within our bodies, how to become healthy-happy-efficient, and how to fuse with the universe without losing consciousness and live there for 2 billion years? as a phenix) by his 12 best seller books. 3-0 out of 5 stars When Buttock Shoots Out a Big Violent Blank
I took the title of the review from a topic covered in chapter two of Mr. Nishigaki's latest book. The topic at hand was how to become a psychic astronaut and be able to traverse the universe in one or two seconds. He does this frequently, and hilarity ensues. I bought the book, as I had truly enjoyed the absolutely breathtaking grammar and sentence structure in his earlier book, "How to Good-Bye Depression: If You Constrict Anus 100 Times Everyday. Malarkey? or Effective Way?" which I preferred to this one, actually.

In "How to Good-Bye Depression: If You Constrict Anus 100 Times Everyday. Malarkey? or Effective Way?" the author explains in great detail that the key to a long and happy life is to have six bowel movements a day and to dent your navel 100 times a day and constrict your anus 100 times a day (if you don't believe me read it for yourself). This book is full of much the same kind of stuff only it is more repetitious and comes across as being more highbrow.

There are certain passages that really come across to redeem this book though, for instance: "I had hated several big vinyl houses in front of my house for about 20 years because the vegetables in these houses have the same feeling of melancholic...A week ago when I walked beside these vinyl houses, I talked to the vegetables in these vinyl houses. By using my third attention, I said to these vegetables 'Please, excuse human beings who will eat you soon. Don't get perverse as long as you live on the earth.'...When such a message could reach the vegetables in the vinyl house by me, beautiful transparent flash suddenly lightened in the vinyl house by me and the vegetables turned to be lively. Then I could feel relieved and joyful."

Never since Pedro Carolino walked the earth has such gibberish been presented quite so eloquently. I gave this book three stars because I honestly didn't know what to do with it. If you read it for serious advice it is worth one star, if you read it for it's humor quotient, it's worth five, so I split the difference.

This paper, written by Metaphysicist and Bestselling Author Dr. Theresa M. Kelly expresses the need for Para Ethics to protect non-threatening spirits from harm that can be the result of paranormal investigative equipment and “ghost busting” methodology. The author explains her reasoning, based on years of first hand experience, why it is unethical to exorcise non-threatening spirits due to the harm that can come from removing a spirit from its space. She also lists many everyday objects and activities that can be detrimental to a spirit. The author includes a brief description of different types of spirits including poltergeists and explains how to tell the difference between types and whether it is unethical to exorcise that type of spirit. In this paper the author proposes that the spirit of a deceased human being does qualify under the definition of conscious and therefore all spirits should be treated as though they are living entities entitled to rights and laws.
