I found the book a little lacking as opposed to "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Chemistry" and "CliffsStudySolver Chemistry."I will not be suggesting "Chemistry Essentials for Dummies" to my class.

I know the textbook and the instructor are intimidating to some chemistry students.They are learning a new language and way of seeing the world.These "helper" books need to connect to what the textbook and instructor presents, in fact overlap."Chemistry Essentials for Dummies" leave a gap for the struggling student. ...
