NY Atlas and Gazeteer by DeLorme
I have purchased these maps before, including older editions for NY and FL.They are tops for showing all the back roads, even some dirt roads, and are useful for finding your way around off the beaten track. Great for hunting, finding campgrounds in obscure places; better prices at Amazon, too.

New York Atlas
This is an absolutely awful atlas. Does not show road detail clearly. I think my next step will be to return it.

Delorme Gazzetteer
I have the gazetteers for Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine and I feel they are great. I have planned trips to these New England states knowing where to find attractions, historical points of interest etc. Even my GPS cannot provide more detailed information on side roads as well as roads that require a 4 Wheeled Drive vehicle. If you plan to travel in a state, I feel these are a great tool in helping make your trip pleasant and a success. As I write this I am ordering Connecticut and Rhode Island. I recently travelled to Connecticut because of a magazine article on western CT only to be disappointed in that the directions in the article were unclear and vague. I am sure that if I had a Delorme guide with me that the trip would have been much different and more pleasant. When I return to CT in foliage season, I will have the CT Gazetteer with me.

Nebraska Atlas
I was long overdue in buying this atlas - I have explored the state from end to end for years. But - better late than never; it's nice to see where I've been, and to look for new places to explore. Well done.

very detailed maps, best price
We are very happy with this, we have owned the Delorme maps before, kept them until they were dog-eared and falling apart. Very detailed maps that really help (GPS is not fail-safe!). Only criticism we have is that the binding doesn't last for twenty years - but by then you might want to get another anyway. ... Read more
